Refactoring is a necessary part of code maintenance and is essential when migrating code to support new development tools, operating systems and devices. Using tools can greatly improve the accuracy of changes and reduce the time required to implement those changes.
In this video, Walter Venable explains the reasoning for using a refactoring tool. He then shows how a rules based tool developed by Walter and John Boehme is applied to a project written in Omnis Studio.
